Heartland Cares is hiring Local Care Connectors

Heartland Cares is a new community-owned organisation created by the communities of Rannoch & Tummel, and Dunkeld & Birnam to deliver home care and other social care services locally.

They are looking to recruit two Local Care Connectors (for Rannoch & Tummel, and Dunkeld & Birnam) who are passionate about working with these communities and helping them to improvethe health and wellbeing of their families, friends and neighbours.

The Local Care Connectors will support people in their own homes, link them with local services, and work alongside community groups and volunteers to improve wellbeing.

They will also support and supervise a small team of care staff. They’re looking for someone with experience in care or support work, good organisational and

communication skills, and confidence working with volunteers and community partners.

Full-time (Dunkeld & Birnam) or Part-time (Rannoch & Tummel)

£30,940 pro rata + pension
