Affordable Housing - Your Chance to Make A Difference

We have a long way to go to keys in a door, but a significant first step has been achieved.

We are looking for community representatives to join a new steering group. This steering group will guide the work of the consultants we have recently appointed to carry out an initial feasibility study for low density, community-led homes at Birnam Park. We have already invited engagement from residents adjacent to the site.

We are keen for this work to be shaped by a broad range of views and experience and would really welcome representation from those seeking their first home.

The expected commitment for this initial feasibility stage is relatively modest - around 3-4 hours per month until the end of June.

Meetings will be local or, possibly on occasion online. We understand that the idea of being on a “steering group” may be daunting. If you have not done this before we will do our best to support you. Please Contact Us if you are interested.
